Enterprise Financial System (EFS) Entry â" 50%
This position may review and process the following financial transactions: Accounts Payable: PO, Non-PO and internal sales vouchers Journal Entries Departmental Deposits AR Billing Requisitions All of the above are financial transactions that influence the Universityâ™s general ledger so timely and accurate data entry is critical. In addition, reviewing the documents for accuracy and completeness (i.e. justifications, chart-strings, supporting documentation, etc.) is essential. Financial Support & Miscellaneous Duties â" 50% Scan various documents into Perceptive Content. Run a variety of weekly, monthly, and year end reports. Various other duties as assigned. Salary Range $22.42 - $32.62
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED and four years of general accounts transaction experience. Training may be substituted for some of the years of experience. Specific knowledge/skills may be required. Experience with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, etc. Demonstrated ability to respond to inquiries (in person, by phone, or electronically) in a professional manner. Experience working independently and as part of a team. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience using the Universityâ™s Enterprise Financial System (EFS) preparing and processing accounting and business documents (vouchers, journal entries, billing, requisitions, departmental deposits). Experience managing weekly, monthly, and year-end processing deadlines along with related workflow items to approved /resolved stage. Detail oriented with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, problem solve, and exercise independent judgment. Knowledge of various purchasing policies to ensure compliance for auditing.
