Job Description In this role you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth administration of all member facing event planning and sponsorship needs to ensure the successful execution of our company's events and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a creative mindset to drive engagement opportunities. This includes services such as planning center celebrations, webinars, or philanthropy events; administrative duties including vendor management, budgeting, and data tracking; managing inventory; coordinating with marketing on event and brand needs; ticket management for sponsorship events; and more. Depending on Business Unit access, response, and exposure to processes, technology access will vary. Essential Functions Event Coordination and Execution: Coordinate logistics for all assigned member facing events and celebrations including event plans, timelines, budgets, and logistics. Source and manage vendors, venues, caterers, and other event-related services. Oversee all aspects of event set up, including decor, signage, audiovisual equipment, and more. Manage event registration, communication, and on-site coordination. Prepare post-event reports and track event data as needed. Partnership and Sponsorship Support: Work closely with Partnership Success team and other internal stakeholders to support all sponsorship administrative tasks and commitments are met on time. Support team with ticket allocations, sweepstakes rules, department tracking, catering, and more for all hospitality and tickets. Tasked with organizing and executing sponsorship details according to established plans and timelines. Qualifications Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position Coordinator: Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Communication, PR, Hospitality, or similar relevant field 1+ years of administrative support, customer service experience, or relevant experience Specialist: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communication, PR, Hospitality, or similar relevant field 1+ years of administrative support, customer service experience, or relevant experience Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience. Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Organizational ability, interpersonal skills, discretion, judgment, and initiative. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy. Ability to analyze problems and take effective action or make appropriate recommendations. Attention to detail and accuracy for data entry. Ability to work under pressure and handle changing priorities based on business need. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels of the organization. Ability to develop strong relationships across a diverse coworker base while establishing trust and credibility with managers at all levels and across Development. Orientation towards member service. Coordinator :
$20.41 to $25.82 per hour (S12)
Specialist :
$22.02 to 28.90 per hour (S-13) Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.
