What you'll do
As the Event & AV Technical Lead, you will have the opportunity to use your audio visual technical skills to deliver world class AV services to Docusign employees with systems in conference rooms and event venues. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the rest of the End User Services team and our Events and Marketing teams. The Event & AV Technical Lead is responsible for intermediate level set up and operation of small to large-scale audiovisual systems. You'll serve as our in-house Event Producer and AV technical resource for all meeting, conference, and event needs for Docusign Offices and locations across the globe.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager of IT Operations.
Responsibility Partner with global event planners and internal clients to understand experiential intent and how to best implement Audio Visual technology Review and provide feedback for vendor execution and capabilities Collaborate with operations and support teams to provide direction/support, streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance the overall user experience Create and/or oversee room and event layouts, diagrams, and templates Sign-off of final audio-visual technical design and configuration for the specific events Manage all levels of AV execution risk and apply logical risk mitigation to every event Coordinate activities associated with installation, deployment and upgrade of facility or classroom technology Collaborate with the selected vendor on all equipment hire and ensure logistics are in place for load in and strike Ensure the team is compliant with the company's policies, and security constraints Handle confidential and privileged information carefully and with sensitivity Work with the team to create process documentation, communicate a clear picture of our workflows for all teammates, partner organizations and department leads, and ensure that established SOPs and department policies are followed Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures for service area Act as an escalation point for technical issues Lead, mentor and coach other Technicians for everything AV related in our Docusign offices throughout the world Work with agencies and internal creative teams to ensure source files are compatible with event AV technology, and quality is consistent with our brand reputation Possess understanding of event technical planning and processes, keeping current with AV production standards and technology to implement production solutions that improve output quality, increase efficiency and speed, and/or enhance customer experience Apply broad knowledge of AV skills, project workflows and file/asset management, to handle assigned projects with minimal supervision Take on limited process design work and documentation when required, in order to supplement team workload Travel independently in a defined region routinely, or travel nationally as business needs dictate Provide after hours and/or weekend or holiday support (unscheduled support), as business needs arise Job Designation

What you bring
Basic 6+ years of experience in event AV production Experience with webcasting and live video production for hybrid or fully virtual events Agency, vendor or in-house, or corporate production experience In-depth knowledge of audio-visual design and production terminology Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, Media Encoder, and Photoshop Experience developing and maintaining training manuals and other resources for training of personnel Experience operating and instructing others to operate portable and installed AV equipment (sound, lighting, projection, theatrical rigging) for events
Preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication and customer service skills Great at analyzing client requirements and understanding workflows, to drive technical solutions Ability to prioritize while adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcome Ability to define and design processes, for repeatable efficient and scalable workflows Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills Computer proficiency, strong verbal and written skills Understanding of different audio and video protocols and codecs. Industry qualifications or memberships Deep understanding of audio, video and control flow, computers and router/wireless networking, calibrating projectors and TVs, control and video distribution, and DSP programming skills Familiarity with (installing and programing) Crestron, AV System Commissioning Familiarity in complex enterprise application environment with integrations and customizations to support multiple business processes Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems Strong team player but also able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts and monitor performance Proven track record of using automation tools and development expertise to create and deliver time and effort saving efficiencies in support of End User Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $33.99/hour - $48.98/hour

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
