Event Team

With a focus on expanding our footprint in the community through external events, badboyboards is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Event Team. As an Event Staff member, you will play a crucial role in sharing the badboyboards story and educating customers about the brand! We are looking to participate in multiple various events such as mall pop-ups, in-store events, farmers markets and more! This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations
- Serve food and beverages to guests if called for
- Handle sales transactions and operate cash registers
- Manage crowd control and ensure the safety of all attendees
- Assist with event cleanup and breakdown
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Experience working with the public, preferably in a customer service or hospitality role
- Familiarity with event management or coordination is a plus
- Ability to handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking
- Desire to connect with new people in various environments
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week minimum, 40 maximum
