Estimator Project Manager

Job summary
The Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for business development, bidding, winning, and managing project delivery.
Job seniority: director level and above
Responsibilities
• Business development – client introductions, customer relationship management• Estimating – reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, compiling material quotes, estimating labor durations and equipment needs• Contract awards & management – secure contracts, review contracts, review scope, ensure all scope is covered• Estimate & Manage multiple projects simultaneously• Bid, plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects and project teams to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and financial parameters• Identify project requirements, define project deliverables, and manage project roles to meet/exceed customer expectations• Work with internal resources, along with external contractors to win projects and complete project initiatives• Create a clear execution plan with measurable milestones• Continuously perform realistic risk assessment, mitigate risks and remove roadblocks independently• Establish a trusted advisor relationship with the customer and internal management teams to ensure consistently high satisfaction levels
Requirements
• 5+ years of industry related experience required• 3+ years of project management experience within the telecom, low voltage, cable TV or related industry preferred• Bachelor's degree preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for degree• Experience with multiple OEMs preferred• Working knowledge of relevant, project related software• Expert level ability within Microsoft office applications• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment• Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills• Comfortable working with a team or alone• Must be able to pass a drug screen, criminal background check and driver's license verification
