We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the takeoff, estimation, and overall operational and financial success of projects.
As an Estimator/Project Manager , you will collaborate closely with the General Superintendent to ensure efficient coordination of project resources, adherence to schedules, and optimal project profitability.
Key Responsibilities for Estimator/Project Manager: Download and review plans and specifications to define project scope. Request quotations for subcontractors, materials, bonds, and insurance. Conduct quantity take-offs, risk assessments, and pricing evaluations. Assess subcontractor and material quotes for pricing and qualifications. Prepare bid documents and ensure accurate and complete bid submissions. Conduct site visits and document project progress through photos. Attend various meetings (e.g., pre-bid, pre-construction, progress). Prepare and update project schedules. Maintain job cost and productivity records. Generate Change Order requests as needed. Review quantities, estimates, and billing for accuracy. Manage and maintain project documentation. Perform additional assignments as delegated. Recurring Tasks for Estimator/Project Manager :
Review bid notifications for upcoming projects. Set up initial bids, pricing, and submissions. Prepare Subcontracts and Purchase Orders. Generate all required submittals, shop drawings, etc. Review and maintain weekly Job Cost and Productivity Reports. Prepare Change Orders as necessary. Update project schedules regularly. Review project financials. Prepare all project closeout documents. Update past Job Cost & Productivity files. Qualifications for Estimator/Project Manager :
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field. Five years of experience in General Construction, concrete, and PEMB estimating and project management. Proficiency in Microsoft products. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required. Additional Requirements for Estimator/Project Manager :
5-10 years of estimating experience. Familiarity with HCSS Heavy Bid is a plus but not required. Knowledge of the CSI codes, PEMB, and heavy concrete. We invite qualified and motivated individuals to apply for this challenging and rewarding Estimator/Project Manager position.
