Estimator

The Estimator position is a vital role in the success of our preconstruction and heavy civil construction operations. We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in construction estimation and a keen eye for detail. The Estimator will provide timely and accurate estimates and cost data for our projects, ensuring we remain competitive and profitable. The qualified candidate will have excellent analytical, math, and communication skills as well as a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and related software.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and compile cost estimates for projects and associated materials Review drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine scope of work Prepare and analyze cost estimates for various project sizes and disciplines Execute quantity take-off and pricing calculations for project bids Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the estimates Conduct research to identify new materials, equipment, and labor costs Provide technical advice and support to project teams Generate reports and other documents to inform project teams Attend project meetings and other conferences Assess risk and develop contingency plans to address them Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related discipline At least 5+ years of experience in construction estimation Knowledge of heavy civil construction techniques and methods Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and related software Excellent analytical and math skills Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload Strong customer service and inter-personal skills Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401k Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
