Full job description Description: We are seeking an experienced commercial drywall and carpentry Estimator to join a mid-sized drywall, carpentry, acoustics, and paints contractor in metro-Detroit. The person for this role report to the lead Estimator and President and focus mainly on their commercial projects business.
On a daily basis this person will; calculate how much construction projects will cost, taking into account labor, material and equipment requirements. They will negotiate with suppliers and gain quotes from subcontractors if needed, and use this information to compile detailed cost proposals for a client.
