Estimator - Hoa

Company Overview: We are an award winning company who provides in-house design with reconstruction, roofing, painting and maintenance divisions dedicated exclusively for HOAs. We are dedicated to serving the board of directors with our expertise in waterproofing and building exterior solutions. Our team is looking to expand and add on an experienced Residential Estimator!
Position Overview: The Estimator - HOA position is responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for residential single family homes and other residential units for a Homeowners Association (HOA). The Estimator will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure estimates are completed accurately and within the scope of the project.
Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate cost estimates for projects managed by the Homeowners Association. Provide feedback and advice on the best methods to improve efficiency on projects. Analyze project drawings and specifications for accuracy and conformance to the project budget. Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of all estimating processes. Monitor and review the preparation of estimates to meet tight deadlines. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain timely and accurate pricing and delivery information. Ensure estimating practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Monitor and track all changes that may impact the original estimate. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in Residential estimating. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and labor costs. Proficiency with estimating software. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
