The estimator is responsible for providing timely and accurate estimates to our sales team for roofing projects. The estimator works closely with sales reps and the operations team to ensure costs and materials are listed as accurately as possible. Typical Work Week · Identify project labor and materials by studying proposals, blueprints, written specifications, and related documents
· Provide estimates on labor and materials
· Coordinate with sales team members to review estimates before they are presented to the customer
· Coordinate with operations team to review estimates and verify labor/material cost
· Gather supplier pricing
· Maintain Estimating Edge database
· Attend weekly meetings with sales manager
Qualifications · Commitment to and support of the mission and vision of Hopkins Roofing
· High School Diploma, required
· Associates Degree, preferred
· Experience with Estimating Edge, required
· Roofing knowledge, preferred
· Computer skills and use of Microsoft Office, preferred
· Effective time management skills
· Ability to perform and understand basic mathematics
· Ability to work closely and collaboratively with various departments at Hopkins Roofing
