Estimator- Commercial Landscape Construction

About Teufel Landscape: Teufel Landscape is a leading company specializing in the installation of commercial landscapes, irrigation systems, pedestal pavers, planters, woodwork, amenity spaces and green roofs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Landscape Construction Estimator to join our team in Kent, WA. This position is not remote and requires on-site presence .
Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret construction plans and specifications. Establish mark-ups, assess risks, and evaluate market conditions. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Perform accurate take-offs using PlanSwift Takeoff software. Solicit and compare competitive vendor pricing. Prepare precise material lists and organize vendor quotes. Present estimates to Business Developers and Branch Managers. Assist Project Managers post-contract with material quotes, take-offs, and other necessary information. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of commercial landscaping experience. Strong landscape and irrigation knowledge. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with Timberline estimating, PlanSwift, and ProCore is preferred but not required. Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications. High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
