This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking to join a respected organization and contribute to exciting projects.Position Responsibilities:Prepare timely and accurate estimates and budgets for various commercial construction projects, including educational, healthcare, and multifamily buildings.Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate information and ensure all project requirements are met.Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work to determine project costs and produce detailed estimates.Utilize a range of programs and software to generate accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials.Position Essential Job Functions:Conduct thorough and detailed reviews of project plans, blueprints, and specifications.Perform quantity takeoffs and estimate labor, material, and equipment costs.Prepare bid proposals and deliver accurate estimates within established timelines.Collaborate with project teams to develop value engineering and cost-saving strategies.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and material costs.Position Skills:5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.Demonstrated good tenure with previous employers.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Diverse commercial background and experience with a range of programs and software.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.Benefits:Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $125,000, based on experience.Generous PTO package.401k retirement plan.Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.If you are a skilled estimator with a solid background in commercial construction and are looking to join a reputable company with a strong project pipeline, we want to hear from you!
