We are currently seeking a skilled Estate & Trust Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the accurate and timely preparation and review of estate, gift, and fiduciary tax returns. You'll have the opportunity to engage with clients, provide valuable insights, and contribute to the success of their financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with estate attorneys.
- Analyze estate planning documents, including wills and trust instruments.
- Prepare and review gift tax returns for various trusts.
- Perform fiduciary accounting tasks.
- Participate in special projects related to tax consulting and research.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of fiduciary preparation experience, preferably in a CPA firm.
- CPA certification or in progress.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
