Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Probate Paralegal to join their legal team. As a Probate Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting the attorneys with all aspects of probate law. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the legal field and has a keen interest in probate matters.Desired Background:Minimum 3 years in probate lawABA paralegal certificate and/or degree in paralegal studies strongly preferredAbility to draft discovery requests and responses, notices of continuances, drafting motions to compel and document requestsFiling documents with the court and client contact requiredStrong knowledge of probate laws, procedures, and court rulesProficiency in legal research and case management softwareResponsibilities:Assisting attorneys in preparing and filing probate documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and other necessary formsConducting legal research on probate laws, court rules, and case precedentsGathering and organizing client information, including assets, debts, and beneficiariesCommunicating with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys regarding case updates and requirementsCoordinating and scheduling meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clientsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and recordsProviding administrative support to attorneys, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendarsAssisting with the preparation of estate plans, wills, trusts, and other related legal documentsOur client offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
