Company Name: Osseo Job Description Description: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the Division of Leadership, Teaching and Learning. As the PK-12 Operations Accountant, you will provide accounting support and guidance to ensure the efficient financial management of our division. Your role will involve tasks such as budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance verification.
Job Summary: Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the development and monitoring of the annual budget Documenting financial transactions and preparing reports Ensuring compliance with accounting controls and regulations Providing accurate financial information to department leaders Managing special funded projects and grants Assisting with technical accounting tasks Maintaining professional knowledge and attending workshops Qualifications : College graduate with a major in accounting, business administration, or a related field Three years of proven success in accounting, with a focus on budgeting and financial analysis Extensive skills in accounting and related fields Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems Preferred knowledge of governmental accounting and education financial rules and regulations Salary: The salary will be based on the Management Personnel I-M agreement. Work schedule: This is a 225-day contract position.
