Harris is hiring for an ERP Systems Administrator to oversee its Deltek Vantagepoint ERP solution by performing analysis, implementation, administration, and technical support to continuously improve its finance, marketing, project management, and reporting business systems.
The ideal candidate for this position will operate within the IT team but will foster relationships across all parts of the business. They will serve as a vital bridge between the IT team and various operational and project delivery business units providing support and solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and driving overall business success. This is a hybrid position and the person in this role must be located close to one of our California offices (Concord, Sacramento, Irvine, Salinas, or San Diego). Primary Responsibilities Serve as primary lead and technical support for the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP SaaS infrastructure and its related technologies. Liaison with Harris staff and the ERP software provider to perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, respond to internal support tickets, submit technical issues to the software provider, perform version upgrades, deploy new functionality, and communicate important changes to end users. Maintain development, testing, and production environments for the ERP system. Develop custom functionality within the ERP to support improved business processes which includes creating new custom data objects, automation workflows, reports, dashboards, and so on. Gather business requirements, analyze solutions, develop new functionality, create and execute test plans, and deploy new customizations to the production ERP instance. Extract, analyze, and summarize key insights from the ERP's datasets as needed using the out-of-box ERP reporting tools, dashboards, and SQL. Lead user adoption initiatives for new functionality including developing communications and training with support from power users on an ongoing basis. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of customizations, process flows, and user guides for both default and custom functionality. Qualifications & Experience 5 years' hands-on experience administering ERP systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint, SAP, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365. 5 years' experience performing common SQL operations such as creating queries, stored procedures using tools such as SSMS, SSRS, or equivalent. Experience troubleshooting and resolving application and data technical issues quickly and reliably in a variety of systems. Experience initiating and managing technical projects from kickoff to closeout. Experience designing and deploying new systems features and functionality to meet business needs while accounting for the user experience. Exceptional analytical skills. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. Knowledge of common business operations such as project management, financial systems, marketing, and HR. Ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks, with a high degree of efficiency and organization. Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users. A meticulous attention to detail. Other Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or another relevant field of study. Must be located close to one of our California offices (Concord, Sacramento, Irvine, Salinas, or San Diego). Experience with desktop operating systems and common office applications. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range offered for this position is $85-145K. Actual pay offered will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
