We work in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers, and tool vendors. We provide the foundation to introduce some of the most sophisticated memory and storage technology to the world! We supervise tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to resolve equipment issues.As a Technician, your job duties will require physical activity including standing and/or walking for long periods; climbing, crouching, kneeling, or crawling on uneven terrain; working in confined spaces; and using hand tools while arms raised above head level. Some roles require certification and the use of a respirator.Military Experience in any of the belowAircraft MechanicElectronics Technician NuclearMachinists Mate NuclearNuclear TechnicianArtillery MechanicResponsibilitiesResolve electrical and mechanical problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing processDismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawingsUses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as neededMay perform equipment modifications as advised by engineersSkills sought for this roleApplied proficiency in mechatronics, robotics, fundamentals of electricity, technical writing, electrical power, machinery, or staticsBasic PC skills including MS Office SuiteBasic understanding of SPC principles and accurate applicationQualificationsExperience in Electronics Technology, Mechatronics Technology, Microelectronics, Industrial, or Advanced ManufacturingPreferred QualificationsAAS in Electronics, BS in Electronics Engineering Technology, related field of study, or equivalent military experienceAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
