POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provide administrative support for equipment delivery, assignment and repositioning, and equipment compliance programs (licensing, registration and permitting) in support of company goals and objectives
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure accurate and timely vehicle licensing, registration and permitting in compliance with International Registration Plan (IRP) and/or other applicable laws and regulations
2. Maintain knowledge of IRP and other applicable licensing and permitting regulations, and follow new developments to ensure compliance
3. Respond to information requests of local jurisdictions for drivers who are stopped and/or ticketed
4. Coordinate and monitor equipment transfers to ensure equipment has appropriate permits for new location
5. Provide data to Operating Tax department in support of compliance with Federal Heavy Vehicle Use Tax laws with annual filing and monthly filing for new vehicles
6. Support rental equipment process to meet operational needs while minimizing cost
7. Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures
8. Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school Diploma or GED plus four (4) years of general office experience with experience in vehicle licensing and registration, preferred Must be customer-service oriented with strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of federal and state vehicle registration requirements (Federal Excise Tax Laws, IRP registration requirements and individual state registration requirements), preferred Good verbal and written communication skills with good spelling, punctuation and basic grammar skills Good typing / data entry skills Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Outlook Must be well-organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks Ability to navigate the internet and vendor websites Good research and problem solving skills Able to handle confidential information Able to follow instructions and complete required training Able to work independently and as a team member
