Responsibilities Provides transportation of materials within and outside the plant site by operating tractor trailers, dumpster trucks, and G.R.D. dumpster trucks. Utilizes the computer dispatch system when relieving dispatchers.
Qualifications Must have High School Diploma or equivalency Must have current Class A CDL (Hazard Materials Certification preferred) Must be able to obtain an Eastman DOT Medical Examiner Certification. Must be at least 21 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be familiar with basic computer functions such as email & data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word Must be able to perform all safety procedures and wear appropriate company provided personal protective equipment as needed/required Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Must have a strong work ethic, demonstrating both initiative, & professional attitude. Must be able to perform the essential elements of the positions with or without reasonable accommodations. Workkeys assessment preferred at time of hire. Must achieve Eastman's required score levels on the WorkKeys assessments to be considered for the OAP (Operator Apprentice Program) or the MAP (Maintenance Apprentice Program).
