Environmental Scientist

Job Description: Our client is looking for an environmental scientist to support environmental remediation projects in the field located in Jacksonville, FL. Duties: Soil sampling Ground water monitoring Well installation Collecting samples Subcontractor oversight Additional Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years experience as a Environmental Technician OR 1+ years of experience with a degree FDEP Petroleum Program experience highly preferred Have to be able to travel around Jacksonville area - sometimes can go to Gainesville, Tallahassee, GA etc. Overnights rare. HAZWOPER required OSHA 40 required Ability to learn very fast and work long hours on the field Enthusiastic and ready to learn Selling Points: Provided company vehicle - flexible on taking home and back to office, can change due to travel they are doing. Gas card provided. Toll card provided. Potential to grow into Scientist II Great experience for entry-level environmental field tech/scientist to begin career with one of the top consulting firms.
