Environmental Monitoring Technician I

Azzur Lab is looking for The Environmental monitoring technician who performs EM sampling for clients and supports general Laboratory and administrative duties in the lab.Essential Functions:---Perform EM for multiple clients. Sample pick ups,---Receive and log in client samples---Perform other required environmental testing services for clients, such as non-viable particle count monitoring, quality steam testing, compressed air, gas testing, water sampling etc.---Perform laboratory and administrative duties as needed during office days.Additional functions:Help clients to understand aseptic technique and EM guidelines in regard to onsite monitoring and assist in building robust EM programs.Undergo gowning certification and keep a neat and clean appearance at all times.Required Education:High school degreeRequired Work Experience:Proven experience as an environmental / laboratory technician.1-year experience working in aseptic/controlled environments.Knowledge of Air samples and particle counters.Able to gown and work in a sterile environment for long periods of timeAble to pass gowning qualificationsProficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular)Benefits:Fulltime Employment with Azzur can offer you:Flexible PTOTraining and Development Opportunities401(k) matchBonus EligibilityMedical BenefitsPaid HolidaysCompany provided laptopWho we are:Azzur Group is dedicated to providing clients with efficient, innovative quality, and compliance solutions from Discovery to Delivery™.
