Job summary
The Environmental Health Safety and Regulatory Manager at Ever Fresh Fruit Company is responsible for supporting risk reduction, injury prevention, security protocols, and safety and environmental compliance initiatives.The role emphasizes and promotes a safety culture and is accountable for safety and environmental regulatory compliance, safety training and education, safety inspections, incident analysis, and more.The ideal candidate will be a motivated, independent worker with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute environmental, health and safety plans in compliance with legal guidelines and regulations.• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company requirements.• Coach and mentor department managers in incident investigation and develop corrective action plans.• Create safety-related inspection programs and conduct inspections to assess compliance with policies and regulations.• Develop and oversee safety training programs and continuously evaluate their effectiveness.• Educate staff and maintain documentation and track trends.• Conduct industrial hygiene surveys and investigate complaints of unsafe working conditions.• Stay informed of safety and environmental law or regulation changes and trends.• Advise on ergonomics in office and production environments.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.• 2-5 years of experience in building safety and environmental program/policies in a manufacturing environment.• Strong understanding and experience in OSHA, environmental, and risk assessment.• Extensive knowledge of safety systems analysis and problem-solving.• Experience working with regulatory agencies preferred.• CPR/AED/First Aid/BBP certification and background in worker's compensation claims management preferred.• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
