Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager located in Roanoke, VA. The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day environmental, health, and safety operations. This includes implementing and enforcing safety policies, performing accident investigations, conducting training programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

QualificationsProficient in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practicesExperience in Occupational Health and Accident InvestigationSkilled in conducting Training programsKnowledge of regulatory standards and complianceStrong communication and leadership abilitiesAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively

Education and/or Experience:Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety or other related disciplines or 5+ years environmental health and safety experience in chemical distribution or manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.Safety certifications are a plus.Solid technical background in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering control measures.Extensive knowledge of OSHA, DEQ, DOT and EPA regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.This position requires a valid drivers license for business travel.by Jobble
