Responsibilities
• Lead and drive the implementation and ongoing compliance of the Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Management System• Facilitate training initiatives and develop effective training materials• Investigate incidents and oversee root cause analysis and corrective action processes• Ensure compliance with local EHS legal and regulatory requirements• Manage the site's environmental program, including permits and waste management• Collaborate with workman's compensation and employees on leave due to workplace injuries• Champion the implementation of corporate EHS software systems• Support medical and industrial hygiene programs• Track and report EHS performance metrics• Manage the action management process
Requirements
• EHS Manager level experience in Aerospace, Aviation, or Industrial, Chemical, or Component Manufacturing sectors• Leadership/managerial experience with at least 2 direct reports• Experience supporting a site with at least 400 employees• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining EHS management systems• Knowledge of applicable EHS legal and regulatory requirements• Familiarity with EHS software systems• Understanding of medical and industrial hygiene programs• Experience managing environmental programs and regulatory reporting• Excellent collaboration and communication skills• Previous experience in supervising EHS consultants and contractors preferred
