Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Management System• Facilitate, conduct, and advise on training initiatives• Investigate incidents and oversee root cause analysis• Ensure compliance with local EHS regulations and company-specific standards• Champion implementation of corporate EHS software systems• Support medical and industrial hygiene programs• Manage site's environmental program• Collaborate with workman's compensation and employees on leave• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners• Supervise EHS consultants and contractors
Requirements
• EHS Manager level experience in aerospace, aviation, or industrial manufacturing• Leadership/managerial experience with at least 2 direct reports• Experience supporting a site with at least 400 employees• Experience implementing and maintaining EHS management systems• Ability to lead incident investigations and root cause analysis• In-depth knowledge of EHS legal and regulatory requirements• Familiarity with EHS software systems• Understanding of medical and industrial hygiene programs• Experience managing environmental programs and regulatory reporting• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Key Skills Needed
• EHS Manager level experience in Aerospace or Aviation or some type of Industrial, Chemical, or Component Manufacturing• Leadership/managerial experience with at least 2 direct reports• Experience supporting a site with at least 400 employees• Demonstrated experience and expertise in implementing and maintaining EHS management systems• Proven ability to lead incident investigations and drive the root cause analysis process• In-depth knowledge of applicable EHS legal and regulatory requirements, and experience exceeding compliance standards• Familiarity with EHS software systems and proficiency in leveraging technology for compliance tracking and reporting• Strong understanding of medical and industrial hygiene programs, including fitness for duty and return-to-work evaluations• Experience managing environmental programs, permits, waste management, and regulatory reporting• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
