Sheakley is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Manager for our client in Cedar Rapids, IA. Our client is one of the nation's leading manufacturing firms.
Compensation Package:
$50/HR if local
$40/HR $600/WK perdiem if over 50 miles from Cedar Rapids, IA
$150/Month project completion bonus

Scope of Work:

Safety oversight for a manufacturing facility Includes general EHS auditing responsibilities and working with the location to correct deficiencies. The client is not looking for someone too seasoned but requires someone who can work independently and is familiar with OSHA General Industry standards. They will be working on the plant side (manufacturing). Some construction knowledge would be helpful as the client has multiple embedded contractors on-site.

Contractor Certification Requirements:
Five years of environmental health and safety in a manufacturing facility, agriculture manufacturing experience is a plus
