Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder is seeking an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer with 0 to 3 years' experience to join us in our Cranberry Township, PA or Bridgeport, WV office. We are looking for someone experience in, or the ability to readily learn, all basic components for the delivery of a geotechnical investigation including:
Organization and performance of the geotechnical field investigations, Logging of geotechnical borings and test pits including soil and rock classification, Assignment of the appropriate laboratory testing, Performance of the associated engineering analyses under the guidance of a professional engineer, Shallow/deep foundation design, Slope stability, Engineering analysis, Geotechnical report preparation, Working with design teams to incorporate geotechnical aspects into site designs, and Monitoring and trouble-shooting Geotechnical issues during construction e arthwork and foundation construction. Skills required for this position include:

The ideal candidate will have:
BS in Geological/Civil Engineering EIT is preferred (or the ability to obtain within 6 months) Experience with gINT, LPILE, SlopeW and/or CAD software is a plus. Ability to travel overnight (up to 50 percent of time) for drilling and construction observation assignments.
