Plant Biotechnology Transformation Team is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and energetic individual to participate in the critical work of supporting R&D pipeline by supplying transgenic crops for testing.
Job Description Will perform plant tissue culture tasks, inoculation with bacteria, sterile tissue transfer, transfer of plants to soil and data collection. Responsibility also includes lab logistics support such as autoclaving, lab supplies preparation etc. Desire to work within a team environment is essential. Skills Required Experience working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable. Attention to detail. Database experience. Ability to work in a team setting. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Sterile technique experience is a plus. Education/Training/Certifications A bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, cellular biology, biotechnology or related field is required. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check. Shift: 08:00 AM Pay Rate/Salary Estimated Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour based on qualifications.
