This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and fundraising while working closely with experienced professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities: Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events, including venue selection, logistics management, and vendor coordination. Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their fundraising goals and objectives, ensuring events are aligned with their mission and vision. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event execution, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Marketing and Promotion: Assist in developing marketing and promotional strategies to increase event attendance and support, contributing to the overall success of fundraising initiatives. On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, managing registration, overseeing activities, and addressing any issues to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for attendees. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to evaluate event performance and make recommendations for improvement, striving for excellence and innovation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, event planning, marketing, or related field preferred. Previous experience in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit work is a plus but not required. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and volunteers. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Passion for making a positive impact in the community and supporting charitable causes.
