Enterprise Risk Management Reporting Analyst

Location:

Fresno, CA Areas of Responsibility: Under the direction of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) the Enterprise Risk Management Reporting Analyst (ERM Analyst) will analyze and interpret business information to generate reports that assess, measure, and monitor key risks in support of the association's enterprise risk management efforts. The position also provides support for the associations model risk management program, including model development documentation, monitoring and inventory management. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Responsibilities include:

Enterprise Risk ManagementConducting risk identification processes through assessments, workshops, and data analysisCollaborating with departments to integrate risk management into strategic planning and decision-makingEngaging with stakeholders to gather insights on risk perceptions and address risk management concernsDeveloping and implementing risk mitigation strategies and controlsMonitoring and evaluating the impact of risk management activities on performance and profitabilityPreparing and presenting comprehensive risk reports to senior leadershipEnsuring adherence to internal and regulatory risk management requirementsDeveloping, updating, and maintaining risk management policies and proceduresData AnalysisCreating and running reports from financial data systemsAnalyzing, monitoring, and reporting on portfolio segments using metrics related to credit quality, loan performance, collateral risk, and moreIdentifying trends on a monthly and quarterly basis for leadership and the BoardPerforming ad-hoc analysis projects and maintaining the distressed lending logRisk Management InitiativesSupporting model risk management assessment activitiesCreating and maintaining model development documentation and monitoring processesMaintaining a comprehensive inventory of models and presenting to the Asset Liability CommitteeRegularly analyzing the portfolio to understand composition and risk factorsConducting stress tests to assess the potential impact of adverse scenarios on the portfolioDeveloping and recommending strategies to mitigate identified risksReviewing, revising, and creating risk management policies and proceduresProviding training to staff on risk management policies and proceduresCompiling information and addressing deficiencies identified in audits Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in ERM best practices and COSO ERM framework.Ability to interpret underwriting standards, guidelines, and procedures.Understanding of agricultural lending principles, policies, and practices.Awareness of economic, political, and industry factors impacting agricultural lending.Analytical skills for objective conclusions and systematic organization.Effective relationship-building with diverse internal and external groups.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for document management.Decision-making skills based on evaluation, ethics, and social responsibility.Strategic thinking to identify issues and relationships for long-term objectives.Strong communication skills for discussing complex topics with varied audiences.Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agriculture economics, business or agricultural business, finance, statistics, information technology, or a related fields and 3-years in risk management, data analysis, credit or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.__________________________________________________________________________________________________ABOUT USEstablished in 1917, Fresno Madera Farm Credit, headquartered in Fresno, provides quality credit and financial services in California's Central Valley.
