With a 35-year foundation in hardware and software supply chain augmenting our deep expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge, we guide organizations through complex digital decisions to achieve extraordinary results.This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.Remote/ 8% travelM-F 8-5 pmContract to hire$100-$110 hourlyKey Responsibilities:Lead architectural reviews.Approve technical designs with a heavy emphasis on sustainable total cost of ownership (TCO).Challenge designs and advise technical SME's on aligning to best practices and discuss implementation designs and/or consequences.Assist with strategy and roadmap planning.Develop enterprise workflows such as:Financial review of an application, security posture, business continuity and disaster recovery.GRC/ Governance risk compliance.Designing and scaling applications with Azure services such as AKS, OpenShift or App Services.What you'll need to succeed:Azure Well Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.Experience developing enterprise workflows.Experience with Azure Data Factory, Container Apps, and PaaS, to understand with helping and/or challenging the design.Experience with Azure CAF in areas such as BCDR, Monitoring/Observability, and NetworkingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Past hands-on experience implementing Azure services.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstand from an infrastructure point of view: App ServiceEnvironment, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Storage Accounts and Azure Log Analytics.Strong leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities.Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practicesInsight is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law.
