The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) has an exciting contractual opportunity available for an Enterprise Application Developer to become part of a team implementing the cloud-based Blackbaud CRM for UMB's Philanthropy office . The selected candidate, under general direction, will independently design, develop and implement reports and application extensions using a variety of technologies. They will assist in on-going support and maintenance of the CRM application.

PRIMARY DUTIES Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-wide software applications throughout the lifecycle from inception to implementation. Analyze ERP software applications and evaluate campus requirements against available solutions. Design, develop, and support business-critical reporting for fundraising teams using Advance and PL/SQL. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Support major integration platforms like Live Alumni, Wealth Engine and demographic analysis systems . Maintain and support integrations of campus data such as medical school or graduate student information data into Advance Systems. Develop functions to monitor data updates made by users to business-critical tables. Develop routines to detect data anomalies and errors which are sent out as reports to research teams. Assist in the creation of technical documentation. Troubleshoot issues with application, integrations, and reporting . Understand and apply current campus software development methodologies. Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure project goals are met. Ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of applications. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field.
Experience: Two (2) years experience with ERP software packages (e.g., Ellucian Banner/Advance , etc.), or other enterprise-wide application software (e.g., COEUS, Maximus ERS).
Preferred Experience: Experience with Ellucian Advance or Alumni and Fundraising Systems preferred. Experience reporting with PLSQL, SQL, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and similar BI tools preferred. Experience with application development or reporting tools preferred.
Other: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to collaborate with clients and/or other members of the team to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. Ability to troubleshoot development/production issues with other technical staff. Ability to multi-task in work that is complex and varied in nature. Ability to support users and assist them in the use of application software. Ability to provide support to and work collaboratively with senior-level staff. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Crystal Reports Knowledge of Financial Edge and Raise Applications preferred.
