You will be responsible for cost and quality improvements and maintaining daily operations to achieve division goals. Job ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment with minimum supervision, using a broad knowledge of applied trade practices and technique.The use of ladders, raised platforms, caged lifts, and manual climbing on equipment at various heights up to and including 40 feet is required.Plan, layout and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes, install switches and controls, central subsidiary control panels, electronic devices and all other duties incidental to installation.Maintain substation; diagnose and remedy all electrical, electronic and mechanical troubles.Work from wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic drawings and code book.Use all electrical measuring and testing devices.Support proper implementation of new processes & equipmentTroubleshoot manufacturing electrical and programming issuesIdentify root cause, analyze and solve manufacturing process issues and equipment related problemsProvide leadership and development to maintenance staff to diagnose and solve equipment issues as first line of engineering supportProvide technical support to production and work teams and serve as a technical resource for the departmentSupport maintaining stability in day to day operationsAnalyze, evaluate and document standards according to quality system requirements such as Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and LOTO proceduresProvide a critical link between the department and other process partners such as product design, assembly, paint, maintenance, safety, quality, etc.Communicate with and support up to a 24-hour / day manufacturing operation Minimum RequirementsElectrical Associates Degree or higher in technical/equivalent field with work experience OR Journeyman's card OR equivalent experience to a Journeyman (ex: previous engineering experience, electrician certifications, etc)2+ years in manufacturing environment with a good understanding of plant operations and engineering Strong computer skills (SAP, Google Suite)Able to read electrical schematics and knowledge of programmable controllersHands-on experience with low voltage (480V and below) electrical applicationsBasic experience with the following automation disciplines PLC Programming / HMI Development / Variable Frequency Drives / Motion Control / Industrial Networks / SensorsAble to work overtime as needed.
