The Job:


As a Project Engineer, you'll be part of our Tolls and Outdoor team working as a on-site employee. Organizing wire validation projects at two SBD manufacturing plants in Elyria, Ohio. You'll get to:

Design validation testing for proposed wire changes at SBD plants in Elyria. Utilize the Milestone process to communicate progress/status to SBD management. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and scope, ensuring project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately. Partner with cross-functional teams to minimize negative impacts of validation testing on production equipment. Identify dependencies across all delivery teams and ensure teams are in sync; remove barriers, communicate, and escalate as required in order to hold teams accountable to make and meet commitments. Organize the build, distribution and sign-offs of PPAPs and other required change validation tools. Learn basic process for machine cold heading of weld studs. Identify opportunities to reduce cost and reduce operational complexity. The Person:

Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline required. 3+ years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field. 3+ years in related Manufacturing Engineering experience. Metal forming manufac turing preferred. Ability to function and contribute within several manufacturing processes within a single product line. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on a "hands on" approach. General knowledge in the areas of metallurgy, dimensional controls, heat treating and inspection methods. Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, ISO and other federal guidelines. The Details:
