Sustainability Engineering Manager, Equipment BU
Ultradent, the global name in oral health, is seeking a personable, passionate, and driven Sustainability Engineering Manager to join our Equipment Business Unit where we manufacture world leading curing lights.
As a Sustainability Engineering Manager, you will provide mentorship and facilitation of engineers and CNC programmers that support the manufacture of this product. In addition, you will provide engineering, technical, and maintenance support for the production machine shop and electronic assembly of this manufacturing operation.
As part of this team, you would be immersed in the following:
Collaborate with Manufacturing team to identify, develop lead process improvement and engineering initiatives to increase efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity.
Daily Stand-up meeting with production and machining teams
Manage and execute projects of various size and scope
Support technical and manufacturing personnel
Assist in providing future vision for the manufacturing area and personnel
Perform and manage equipment maintenance
What you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or 7 years in a technical field is ideal
Previous personnel and project management experience a plus
Experience with medical device manufacturing
Experience with CNC machining and electronic assembly
Experience in machinery maintenance
What we are looking for in you:
Strong Lean manufacturing experience
Strong Solid Works skills
Strong understanding of CNC machining
Understanding of engineering principles and best practices
Hands on approach
Great problem solving
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to analyze and interpret complex information
Understanding of ISO13485 requirements
