WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Engineering Manager The Engineering Manager leads and manages a team of engineers in the development and execution of various engineering projects. This role involves overseeing project timelines, ensuring the quality and efficiency of e-commerce engineering work, coordinating with other departments, and driving continuous improvement in engineering processes. The Engineering Manager is also responsible for mentoring and developing team members and ensuring that projects meet all company standards.
This is a full-time, remote position. WHAT YOU'LL DO Manages and executes against project plans and delivery commitments within an Agile/Lean/Scrum environment.
Develops leaders who can work independently to achieve results.
Accountable for divisional KPIs and other service metrics.
Recruits, hires, trains, mentors, coaches, and motivates Engineers at different levels of experience.
Provide staff with feedback regarding performance metrics to include corrective action if necessary.
Ensure team is making good technical decisions that build towards a sustainable future.
Manage the activities of the team including nurturing their professional development and growth, providing guidance on technical matters, and promoting teamwork and cooperation.
Own the functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability of the team's products and services.
Own the entire software life cycle from conception through deploy through the operation of the team's services.
WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering or software development.
1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
Strong technical background in software engineering, including proficiency in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to, SQL and Java.
Proven ability to lead teams toward organizational goals with successful outcomes
Proven ability to follow through with multiple projects and meet commitments
Solid technical acumen, including the ability to understand the customer or partner technology landscape, identify opportunities, and overcome any technical obstacles.
Ability to interact and work with all levels within the organization

Pay range (US based applicants): $129,450 - $150,000 (annualized)
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
