Engineering Internship

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT INTERNSHIP Hours:  Flexible scheduling, up to 40 hours per week May-August
$12.50 per hour
The City of El Dorado is looking for a high school student who has an interest in engineering. Qualifications: Entering Junior or Senior year of high school, at least 16 years old as of 05/01/2024. Maintain regular attendance and be punctual Available for a minimum of 5 weeks, possibility to extend. Complete on-the-job training and any required reading in a timely manner Possess basic computer skills necessary to perform job function Must be comfortable working outside and in a construction environment Desire to pursue a related field with construction or engineering Responsibilities: Project assistance - daily inspections and construction staking Administrative support - assist with organization of the engineering office This job description does not exclusively outline the duties expected of the employee in this role.
