Responsibilities
• Research, propose, and execute R&D projects to identify and implement process innovations• Collaborate cross functionally to plan and perform trials evaluating new technologies and processes• Develop preliminary process designs and support capital project teams• Develop expertise in pet food manufacturing and facilitate technical trainings• Effectively communicate results through oral presentations and written technical reports• Conduct all activity in compliance with GMP, GLP, and company policies and procedures
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 3+ years' experience• 1+ years of experience interpreting and reviewing technical documentation• 1+ years of experience applying mass and energy balance concepts• Preferred: experience in food manufacturing or consumer products environment• Preferred: experience in process modeling or computational methods• Ability to travel up to an average of 30%
