Expected salary range of $132,300 to $147,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations while acting as a resource and technical expert to engineers. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs. Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert when consulted to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations. Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles. Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications. Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs. Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations. *This Engineering role can be filled at Mid, Senior or Senior Staff Engineer levels. Mid-Level - $88,200 - $128,000       
Sr Level - $132,300 - $147,000 Sr Staff - $142,200 - $158,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level Engineer B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years Nuclear or related engineering experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Engineer B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 7+ years engineering experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Staff Engineer B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 10+ years engineering experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Professional Engineer Registration Advanced technical degree or related coursework Job Task Assigned - Air Operated Valve (AOV) Fleet Engineer Programs:  Responsible to oversee and ensure implementation of the AOV Program for the Constellation fleet.  The AOV engineer is one of two fleet engineers that are assigned to oversee and implement the administrative and governance for the program.  The individual is the authority for the program and will work with his direct peer, Fleet Component team personnel and site program engineers for support of site program engineers as well as overall adequacy of the AOV program.     Our team is made up of 9 individuals - 2 AOV, 2 MOV, 2 IST, 2 RVs and App J fleet engineers.  Location is available and any Constellation Nuclear site or one of 2 corporate offices (Cantera or Kennett Square Buildings).  This is a hybrid position.  On site activities include direct support and mentoring of site engineers, plant walkdowns or test support, and potential outage support.
