Work Type: Onsite General Description: What is the business objective/business purpose of project We are responsible for procuring confirming mechanical and electrical specification conducting machine tryouts installing and trialing battery equipment to achieve key project KPIs of safety quality productivity and cost
Clients Production Engineering Battery department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated CW Engineer to work in the Battery group.
The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare coordinate battery manufacturing equipment to support new model launches.
This position will be located at TBMNC in Liberty NC and report to the Engineering Manager for Battery.
The team frequently interacts with the TBMNC plant side engineering manufacturing maintenance process inspection and quality teams as well as the building side construction environmental and facilities department.
Typical day to day tasks including; managing and updating project schedules coordinating with machine supervisors leading the installation and trial activity of new battery equipment
Other engineers in the department project planning groups general contractors Japanese machine vendors environmental logistics
Requirements: Qualifications: Experience installing equipment/construction
Experience in manufacturing startups
Excellent and respectful communication skills within their peer group and with all external groups
A strong technical engineering mindset
