JOB PURPOSE
JVM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer III to join our team and perform a full range of Engineering services with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 (South Central) serving Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical engineering.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of routine tasks related to environmental projects including investigation of air, water, and solid/hazardous waste management issues, health, and safety compliance, and assists in permitting.
Perform routine or non-routine investigations, calculations, and simple engineering assignments (original work based on

manuals/engineering

principles or based on designs of others).
May perform routine field work including sample collection and field measurements.
Assist in the preparation of project reports, permit applications, remedial action plans, closure plans, health and safety plans, QA/QC documents, and other project-specific reports.
Receive specific and detailed instruction as to required tasks and results expected.
Plan and conduct work requiring judgment and substantial adaptation or modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
May also serve as a team leader.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Five (5) years of experience.
Ability to operate with some latitude for unreviewed action or decisions.
Must be able to pass a background check.
