Our Software Engineers not only understand how technology works, but how that technology intersects with the people who count on it every day. Today, innovative ideas, insight and new perspectives are at the core of how we create a more powerful experience for our customers and colleagues, with Big Data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies to deliver innovative products across multiple business units.This Engineering role is based in our Global Risk and Compliance Technology organization and will have a keen focus on platform modernization, bringing to life the latest technology stacks to support the ongoing needs of the business as well as  compliance against global regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Contributes to design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and documenting software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end user applicationsFunction as an active member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)Participate in code reviews and automated testingDebug basic software components and identify code defects for remediationSupport and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environmentsAutomate deployments in test or production environmentsExplores new automation techniques to refine the agility, speed and quality of engineering initiatives and effortsDefines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided. Takes part in reviews of own work and handles work efficiently.Skills & Qualifications:1 to 3 years of work experience in software design and implementation using Java.Some experience with React, Redux, Node.jsExperience in Java. Spring/Spring bootHands on experience of Core Java concepts including Collection, multithreading, Java 8 featuresHands on experience in building REST APIsExperience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsGood to Have:Experience in MicroserviceExperience working in JavaScript and able to demonstrate good JavaScript knowledge.Able to demonstrate good web fundamentals & knowledge of DOMExperience writing adaptive and responsive UI applicationsExperience with TDD, BDD and unit testing.Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment and their frameworksWorking in an Agile or SAFe development environment is a plusHands on experience of using UI Visualization librarySalary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
