Energy Advisor responsible for promoting and selling natural gas and electric supply services to commercial and industrial customers.

Responsibilities
• Identify and prospect potential customers through various means such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.• Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to assess their energy requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their needs and budget.• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the natural gas and electric industry.• Prepare and present proposals that outline the benefits of your company's natural gas and electric services.• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract agreements with clients while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.• Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service.• Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for business growth and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.• Set and achieve sales targets and goals, both individually and as a team.• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and contracts using CRM software.• Ensure adherence to all industry regulations, codes of conduct, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Requirements
• Associate's degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field• Five years of experience in sales and/or customer service, experience in the energy industry a plus• Valid Driver's License• Professional presentation; is confident, assertive and displays a high level of self-esteem• Meets or exceeds sales activity goals• Good time management skills• Strong communication skills• Grasps concepts quickly and has good follow through skills• Good written and verbal presentation skills• Possesses the financial acumen to complete account profitability analysis
