Join our Surgery department as an Endovascular Tech. This is a part-time position, working 36-54 hours every two weeks, mainly 9-hour day shifts between 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, with off premise call rotation for weekday nights, weekends and holidays. Call response time is 35-minutes. Job Summary:
As an Endovascular Technologist at the St. Cloud Hospital, you'll work alongside our Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Stroke Neurologists in our two Hybrid Operating Rooms to care for patients during diagnostic and interventional cerebral and peripheral angiographic procedures (ex. angioplasty and stenting). The Endovascular Technologist's primary role is to prepare and manage diagnostic and therapeutic devices as well as assist the surgeon or interventionalist during the procedure.
Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited educational program that is acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). OR graduate from a cardiovascular technology program required. 1 year experience in vascular imaging lab or Endovascular Operating Room of comparable size and patient volume as Saint Cloud Hospital preferred. Licenses and Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 1 year required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy required. Qualifications: Prior experience working with neuro interventional procedures preferred.
