DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for strategically executing the full cycle recruitment process for all JBS employees by identifying the best candidate for all open roles. Day to day activities include assisting with job descriptions, developing recruiting strategies, posting positions, job fairs, reviewing resumes, pre-screening and interviewing applicants, scheduling interviews, making offers, and completing pre-employment requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with hiring managers to define appropriate strategies to fill open positions in a timely mannerUtilize recruiting tools to actively source candidates for key positionsConduct phone screens and/or on site interviews with candidates to determine technical skills and culture fit with JBSAssist with continuous improvement of recruiting processes, strategies, etc.Establish and maintain positive working relationships with external recruiting sources including temporary agencies, recruiting agencies, advertising mediums, etc.Assist with recruiting related compliance requirements including EEO compliance and applicant trackingAssist with execution of offer and pre-hire paperwork to ensure all new hire requirements are delivered to candidates and completed in a timely mannerContribute to company-wide hiring and HR initiatives. Share responsibility for improving the overall Recruiting function by increasing knowledge, taking on new responsibilities, and suggesting new and improved methodology.QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful applicant will have
strong communication and problem solving skills with experience in employee relations, recruitment, interviewing, selection, and hiring laws and best practices.Knowledge of management of an affirmative action program.Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.Bilingual preferred but not necessary.Prior experience in production or manufacturing environment helpful.1-2 years' experience in recruiting and sourcing new talent preferred.
