Remote has employees across many countries and knowledge of localised complexity is required.Please check out our public handbook to learn more about our culture. We encourage folks from all ethnic groups, genders, sexuality, age and abilities to apply.If this job description resonates with you, we want to hear from you!What you bringExperience in a People team, with significant experience in an Employee Relations Partner capacity, supporting a global organization.Experience managing employee relations across multiple countries is a plusTech start-up and hyper growth experience is nice to have but not requiredCommitment to encouraging all of Remote's values within the team and the greater organisationExceptional written and verbal communication - ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees at all levels within the organisationExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCapable of working both independently and collaboratively within a teamStrong problem-solving abilityRelevant training and/or certifications as an Employee Relations SpecialistKey Responsibilities Operate independently and maintain an unbiased approach, ensuring fairness and equity in the workplaceSupport in creating and implementing procedures or contributing to internal projects to ensure that the organization is compliant within global jurisdictions, while also fostering a positive and fair work environmentSupport the HR Team on employee relations, including employee cases, employee advocacy, addressing and resolving conflicts, grievances and complaints within the workplace.Run investigations and perform due diligence on complex casesWork collaboratively with Legal and HR Partners, the ER Partner will liaise with relevant teams and support positive employee relationsAct as a guide, coach and advisor to the People team on employee matters, including individual cases and company wide employee benefits/informationPlay a key role in maintaining a positive, healthy and compliant workplaceAnalyse employee data and ensure we are compliant in what and how we support our employees compliantly eg, right to disconnect, time tracking where legally required etcDevelop and oversee relevant employee training for leaders and People PartnersPartner with regulatory and compliance to ensure we are maintaining all regulatory requirements in a compliant mannerPracticalsYou'll report to:Chief People OfficerTeam:PeopleLocation: EMEA, NORAMStart date:As soon as possibleRemote Compensation PhilosophyRemote's Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and fairequitypayalong with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.The base salary range for this full-time position is $38,000USD to $86,000USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands.
