Description Actalent is hiring an In-Use Emissions Engineer with 5+ years of experience with Emissions Testing. You will be working on large-scale vehicles in a research & development environment. We're looking for problem solvers who are solutions-oriented engineers. Knowledge: GHG17, GHG21, CARB24, and GHG27 testing and regulation knowledge Diesel powertrains Class 6 - 8 Knowledge of Horiba, Semtech and AVL PEMS Bench installation, commissioning, maintenance, test operation(s), and data post processing Span Gas and Linearization validation and certification(s) per 1065 protocols Safety protocols Span Gas(s) and IUE testing DAQ system integration and J1939 data resources (CANape preferred) Testing: Assist and supervise AVL PEMS Bench installation, commissioning, maintenance, test operation(s) Monitor and validate testing using CANape data acquisition suite Execute 40 CFR Part 1065 test Over the Road Local & Remote locations, and test cell(s) o Up to three times yearly and up the four vehicles per time Customer vehicle certification audits o Ten vehicles per year Post Processing Data to provide customer to validate and sign-off Communication: Communicate with engineering teams internal, external, UAW Communicate with Data Analytics team(s) 40% Travel (post winter & summer test and customer audits) Skills AVL M.O.V.E. PM PEMS, emissions test, diesel powertrain, IUE Testing, GHG17, GHG21, CARB24, GHG27 Top Skills Details AVL M.O.V.E.
