HBI is building on its unmatched strengths to unlock its #FullPotential and deliver long-term growth that benefits all of its stakeholders.Overview:Operates multi and single head sewing machines to embroider name, initial, or decorative designs on garments, household articles, material, or uniforms and to stitch patches or emblems on material or garments.Weekly Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 5AM – 5PMHourly rate starts at $18.00 / hr and is eligible for efficiency increases!Responsibilities:Reads work order to determine type and location of embroidery.Enters appropriate art into the embroidery computer system.Selects size and color thread and draws it through machine guides and bobbin.Removes and replaces bobbin when needed.Adjusts & regulates setscrews to control machine tension.Hoops garments utilizing automatic Hooper and installs in the hoop guides.Observes sewing operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies supervisor of malfunction.Repairs defective embroidery or fills in blanks left by embroidery machine.Uses scissors to trim away backing from decoration.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required; Experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Basic computer skills.To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa statusEOE/AA: Minorities/Females/Veterans/DisabledOnly applicants requiring reasonable accommodation for any part of the application and hiring process should contact us directly:Telephone: Email:
