Role: Embedded Firmware Engineer Location: San Diego, CA (Day-1 Onsite) Duration: Long term Contract Position Type: C2C Contract Only Job Description: Note: This job refers to an Embedded Firmware Engineer with Device driver and low-level programing experience
What you ll be doing: Develop cutting-edge embedded software engineering solutions. Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to embedded software engineering. Design, implement, and maintain embedded software systems. Collaborate with other engineers and teamsto ensure efficient operation of embedded software systems. Monitor system performance and address any potential issues. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trendsin the embedded software engineering space. Prepare technical documentation for embedded software systems. Assist in the development of project plans and timelines. What We Are Looking For: Typically requires 9+ years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience. Strong Embedded Engineer comfortable across stack from sensor-hub, various HW abstraction layers, through to OS (Android/Linux) Experience with low-power embedded systems development in C/C++ Experience with health or motion sensors: data collection, signal processing, developing and deploying algorithms. Prior experience on Wearables, Mobile phone or Healthcare devices preferred.
