IGT is currently seeking a Repair Technician II to join our newly established Repair Depot within our Reno headquarters. This role will be instrumental in facilitating the Repair Depot's relocation from Rhode Island to Nevada, with a focus on enhancing team performance. The Technician's main responsibilities will involve diagnosing and repairing company equipment to uphold product quality for both our Field Services team and customers. In this position, you'll be immersed in restoring and optimizing gaming equipment, utilizing your precision in repair processes to make a tangible impact. Refurbish electronic gaming machine parts according to reconditioning standards. Perform duties related to the troubleshooting and repair down to the board and component level of PC boards and sub-assemblies. Perform tests to determine cause of failure using test/diagnostic equipment such oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and test fixtures. Use schematics and/or technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair parts. Use of solder stations to perform rework of surface mount or through-hole components. Maintain logs of incoming and outgoing repairs using a data entry workstation. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High School degree or equivalent. 2 - 4 years of related experience is required. Skilled communicator adept at explaining warehouse/supply concepts to the business. Exceptional listening skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Looks to lead by serving peers and internal customers. Self-managed and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and deliver projects on time. Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations. Ability to maintain an active presence – standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting – throughout entirety of shift. Capable of lifting and maneuvering a minimum of 30 pounds safely. Preferred Qualifications Certificate or associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent. Experience in high-tech electronics or consumer goods. Soldering experience, surface mount, and through hole. Experience in SAP functionality and systems. Understanding of material management and warehousing concepts.
